Savanna Hunt
Tennis Director

Hello everyone!

My name is Savanna Hunt and I am the Tennis Director here at Sunnyside. Originally from Bettendorf, one of the Quad Cities, I came to Cedar Falls in the fall of 2014 to pursue my tennis career at UNI. I began playing tennis around age 5 and fell in love with it soon after. As a developing junior, I traveled all over the Midwest and trained at academies in Florida over my summers. Throughout my college career I played at number 6 singles and number 3 doubles for the Panthers. My favorite moments as a Panther came in my senior year when I had the opportunity to clinch our win against Valparaiso, and when we battled through our conference tournament as the 6th seed to get second in conference. This tied for the best finish in program history!

In May 2018 I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Kinesiology at UNI. I am passionate about all things tennis and exercise related, so I couldn’t be more excited to introduce and develop tennis skills in our juniors at Sunnyside!

Cheers!
